Bowling pins are short, bottle-shaped wooden targets used in various bowling games, and also as an improvised weapon in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It does not appear in Dead Rising 2. Similar to the nightstick, the bowling pin is fast, but weak; better suited for knocking zombies aside rather than killing them outright.

In Dead Rising 2: Off the Record mission Long Legs of the Law mission, stripper Deidre Sanchez carried a bowling pin.
