Bowling pins are short, bottle-shaped wooden targets used in various bowling games, and also as an improvised weapon in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It does not appear in Dead Rising 2. Similar to the nightstick, the bowling pin is fast, but weak; better suited for knocking zombies aside rather than killing them outright.
- The bowling pin is the only non-motor bike part weapon to only appear in Case Zero.
- Although the bowling pin is not regularly found in Dead Rising 2, it is in the game files of Dead Rising 2. A player can modify the game so that it appears.
- In PC file items.txt there is an item called FuelTank (Fuel Tank) which uses the Bowling Pin model.
