The Ninja Skills Pack is downloadable clothing found in Dead Rising 2. It was a Dead Rising 2 pre-order bonus available from Gamestop.

Abilities

The clothing grants Chuck Greene the ability to:

Attire

The outfit consists of four pieces of clothing; one for each section of the body. In Off the Record the clothing pieces are spread throughout Fortune City.

Skills Pack

Template:Navbar Skills packs are downloadable costumes which can be found in the Safe House bathroom Clothing Locker.

For Dead Rising 2, the Ninja, Psychopath, Solider of Fortune, and Sports costumes were first offered as pre-order bonuses. After October 12, 2010 a player could purchase these Dead Rising 2 costumes. These costumes can be used during Cooperative play. Off the Record separates these four costume's parts and scatters them throughout Fortune City for Frank to find or for Frank to earn.

For Off the Record, the Cosplay Warrior costume was announced as a pre-order bonus on July 21, 2011. The Cyborg, Fire Fighter, and Barbecue Chef were not offered as pre-order bonuses, they are downloadable content.

November 15, 2011 Cyborg Skills Pack (Off the Record) Template:Navbar Electricity Damage added to regular attacks - Discharge electricity and stun nearby zombies. Electric damage when Frank fights with his bare hands. Increased damage in melee attacks. Increased electric damage and electrical effects when Frank fights with an electrical appliance. October 25, 2011 Fire Fighter Skills Pack (Off the Record) Template:Navbar Immune to Fire Damage. Increased speed when carrying or assisting survivors. Survivors run faster when following Frank. Frank can kick open doors. Frank can blast zombies with a torrent of water when using a water gun. New attacks and increased durability with the fire axe. November 8, 2011 Barbecue Chef Skills Pack (Off the Record) Template:Navbar Gain more health from grilled food. Ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise become dangerous weapons. Bonus when using explosives, with bigger explosions. Bonus when using a chef’s knife as a weapon. New attacks with Chef Knife and Meat Cleaver. November 1, 2011

Requirement to play cooperation games

In Dead Rising 2, a free 4 MB download pack is necessary when playing co-op with someone who owns the "Skills Pack - Ninja" downloadable content. Once a player installs it, only then will the player be able to play co-op with someone who has the "Skills Pack - Ninja" content pack.

This free pack does not allow the player to wear the "Skills Pack - Ninja" costume on their own character. This pack is not necessary if the player has already downloaded and installed the "Skills Pack - Ninja" content pack.

Trivia

• Formally on the Gamestop.com website:

"Reserve Dead Rising 2 and receive the Ninja Skills Pack. The pack includes 4 pieces of Ninja clothing. When Chuck wears just one piece of the outfit, it unlocks new abilities in Chuck associated with the Ninja theme. When all 4 pieces of the outfit are worn, additional Ninja-like animations are also unlocked! Theme Pack does not include sword. Available online and in-store while supplies last."

• Left Hand Lance in the Tape it or Die blog mentions both the Psycho Pack outfit, Ninja Skills Pack outfit, and cowboy outfit. He also mentions seeing two Chucks in co-op play.
• In Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, the Ninja outfit is automatically available within the game, though the four pieces of it must first be found.
