The Chef Knife is a weapon found in Dead Rising 2 Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record . In cooking, a chef's knife, also known as a French knife or a cook's knife, is a cutting tool used in food preparation. It is designed to perform well at many differing kitchen tasks, including mincing, slicing, and chopping vegetables, and slicing meat.
In Dead Rising 2: Off the Record it can be combined with:
the Boomerang to create the Decapitator .
the Weed Wacker to create the Weed Tendonizer . Attacks [ ] Trivia [ ] The music played during the secondary attack is from a Hitchcock film called "Psycho", as the zombie is stabbed with a large knife, the same iconic sounds play in the movie.
In Dead Rising , the chef knife was called a Cleaver and didn't have a heavy attack.
The Dead Rising 2 Prima Official Game Guide describes the attacks of this knife as, "Fast, slashing weapon with a unique and brutal heavy attack." and does not mention the second combo attack.
