Boxing Gloves are a weapon in Dead Rising 2. Boxing gloves are cushioned gloves that fighters wear on their hands during boxing matches. The gloves have four swing attacks and two heavy swing attacks. In ranged mode /, the player blocks with the gloves.

The boxing gloves can create two combo weapons when combined with other weapons:
Bowie Knife to create Knife Gloves or
motor oil to make flaming gloves.

Attacks

Main: Tap / to throw a wide Haymaker with the right boxing glove. Combo: During the main attack, tap / to throw another Haymaker with the left boxing glove. Combo 2: During the combo attack, tap / to throw a shovel-hook with the right boxing glove. Combo 3: During the second combo punch, tap / to throw a second shovel-hook with the left boxing glove. Alternate: Hold / to throw a powerful right punch - parallel across Chuck's shoulders. Alternate 2: During the first heavy punch, Hold / to throw a second powerful left punch - parallel across Chuck's shoulders. Defensive: Hold / to bring the gloves up in a defensive position. Tap / to throw alternating left and right jabs.

Trivia

• A boxing bell can be heard when hitting zombies with the Boxing Gloves when Chuck lands all four punches on the same zombie. The bell rings when the last punch (the second Shovel-hook) connects.
• When Chuck goes into aim mode and press attack or fire, he will throw boxing punches instead of throwing the weapon. Chuck can also block some attacks in aim mode.^{[Verification needed]}
• In the PC file items.txt this weapon is called "lboxglove".
